SCHOOL-WIDE SERVICE PROJECT Blades staff and students are joining together for Joplin! In October, we will begin a pen pal program with the students at Irving Elementary. Each grade level will be assigned with their corresponding grade level. Due to the uneven number of classrooms per grade between Irving and Blades, we will alternate one classroom per month. A calendar with your scheduled month along with topic ideas will be placed in your mailbox. Completed letters can be given to either Gretchan or Misty and we will mail the letters monthly. It is your choice whether you would like to create a collaborative class letter or individual student letters. We would like to include a class picture in your first letter to Irving. This will give the students from both schools a chance to create a connection.
